It is essential to the success of your loan signing or notarization to ensure the following fundamentals are covered. If there are any delays, errors in signatures, incorrect dates, improper certificates, or outdated ID's, the loan/notary signing may not proceed. Therefore, we take precautions to ensure YOU get the Customer Service you deserve for a successful outcome!
When preparing for your appointment, make sure you have a current photo government issued ID. This could be a Driver's License, Passport or non-driver's ID.
Ensure you have the proper documentation that needs to be notarized. This information would come from the individual(s) or organization requesting that you obtain a notarized document. This could be a Jurat, Acknowledgement, Oath or Proof of Execution. It is unlawful for the Notary to offer advice or recommend which document.
You must be present at the time of loan signing and notarization. If there are two (2) or more signers, each MUST be present during the signing.
The Notary is not licensed to practice law or provide answers nor advice that lawyers would. Review your documents and establish comprehension of your documents with the Issuer, so you completely understand what you will be signing.
It is very important to sign your loan papers or notarization exactly as it appears on your Government Issued I.D. This includes middle initials, suffixes and titles as they actually appear. This applies to each signer. This signature must be the same throughout all your loan documents. Additionally, signatures need to be completed such that they resemble legitimate signatures.
During loan signings, it is a good practice to ensure there is a clean, distraction-free work space. If the residence is not conducive to these factors, please consider alternate locations. This may include Hotel Lobbies, Conference Centers, Coffee Shops, Public Libraries, City Hall, Restaurants or Diners. As a matter of Professional Conduct, the notary will arrive promptly at the designated time and place. If unexpected events occur that delay the appointment, both parties shall communicate any delays or reschedule.
Your documents should be in your possession PRIOR to your appointment. Do not sign any documents before the the appointment. Your documents should not have any blank lines. The signing may not proceed under these circumstances.
Please make sure your documents to be signed are completely in English. Our native language is English, and translators may not be used, as interpreters could convey incorrect meanings.
Payment must be made in advance or upon completion of notarization onsite. Payment may be made with Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, CashApp, cash or a major credit card with the Notary Public. While we try to be "cashless", cash is still acceptable.
